Notice that there are different instructions for the C7115a and the C7115x. The “a” is a low capacity cartridge, and the “x” is a high capacity cartridge.
You need a hole making tool, and the right toner. Uni-Kit #1 toner is designed for this machine and others.

We have a HP c7115a and would like to refill the toner cartridge. The replacements seem very expensive and we need to save a few bucks. I believe we just need to make a hole somewhere but not quite sure of the process.
Any suggestions. This printer wil be for labels, greeting cards, door hangers, kind of need a duplex also. From experience what would you suggest. Or where can I go to see for myself. I know of many people that refill their own toner for dirt cheap. I do that with my inkjet. But I don’t like the colros bleeding with an inkjet.
